Original Fertilization Program

Conventional Fertilization Program:

  1. Spring Fertilizer with Pre-emergent: Balanced fertilization with slow-release nitrogen to deepen green up as well as provide extended feeding.  Fertilizer is coated with a pre-emergent herbicide to prevent crabgrass germination.  Spot weed control.
  2. Late Spring Fertilizer with Pre-emergent: Extended feed fertilization with liquid pre-emergent around all hardscapes including sidewalks, driveways, walkways and patios. Spot weed control.
  3. Grub Control: White grubs are the larvae of beetles that damage lawns by feeding on the roots and are often difficult to control. This application will target the small grubs along with some surface insects.  Spot weed control.
  4. Bio-stimulant: Applied during the summer months when lawns do not require nitrogen feeding.  Helps alleviate stress and increase soil microbial activity and water holding capacity. Spot weed control.
  5. Lime: Raises and maintains pH at an appropriate level for turf to absorb vital nutrients in the soil.
  6. Late Summer Fertilizer:  Balanced fertilization to help the lawn out of summer stress and into a more favorable growth period. Spot weed control.
  7. Fall Fertilizer: Balanced fertilization entering late fall and winter. Slow-release portion allows quicker green up the following spring. Spot weed control.
